Travello only processes the data needed to show route searches, save your choices, and keep your account signed in.

What data may be processed
- Account data from your chosen sign-in provider (Google or Apple), such as email address and name.
- Saved routes, history, and travel preferences that you choose to store in the app.
- Location data when you actively use route search or the map and have granted location permission.
- Anonymous search analytics with no account link to understand which routes are searched most often.
- Technical usage data (page views, clicks, errors, device type) to improve app quality.
How the data is used
- To search for routes and use your current position as an origin or destination.
- To sync saved routes, history, and preferences across your devices when you are signed in.
- To improve app stability, search quality, and popular route insights over time.
Third-party processors
- Supabase (EU): hosts account and route data under GDPR.
- Cloudflare: delivers the app and runs serverless functions.
- Google Gemini: processes your search query to interpret routes. No account ID or email is sent.
- PostHog (EU region): collects error and usage analytics, plus session replay. All data is stored in the EU and form fields are masked.
- Trafiklab / SL: public-transit data providers (timetables and real-time).
Storage and deletion
- Local preferences and temporary data are stored on your device so the app can launch quickly.
- If you delete your Travello account, your saved routes, history, preferences, and account profile are permanently removed.
- Your Google or Apple account with the identity provider is not deleted when you delete your Travello account.
